I help people make the moves that are about more than the house. A divorce, the loss of a spouse, an empty nest, a parent who needs more help, a first home, a new job in a new state. Each of those comes with its own questions, and most of them aren't about square footage.
Before real estate, I was a project manager in IT, raising three boys. While they were little, I fixed and flipped houses, and that's what got me interested in real estate. I got my license because I wanted my work to matter more directly to families, and helping someone find a place to live and make memories still feels like the right reason to do this. I've lived in this area for over 31 years and have been licensed for 10.
My approach is simple. I listen before I advise. I educate before I recommend. You make the decision, and my job is to make sure you understand every option well enough to make it with confidence. Sometimes the right advice is "not yet," and I'll tell you that too.
One of my favorite moves was a couple leaving the three-level Boulder home they'd lived in for 37 years. They wanted single-level living for their next chapter, but their doctors, their friends and the life they'd built were all close by. We found a home in Erie that gave them both. We weren't trying to find less. We were trying to find better for them now. After closing, we had dinner together to celebrate.
Real estate may be how we meet. My hope is that what remains is trust. Love where you live. Live where you love. Love those you serve.
